Google released a pretty neat application programming interface (API) that allows you to include their mapping service as part of your own site.

This would be a really slick feature to map-enable travelogues, hikes, or run routes.

I also found Mapbuilder, a free onilne service that allows you build your own map and related code.

One day, I'd like to integrate this feature into this website. I think it would be neat to go along with the many travel photos I've posted on this site.
